NHPC has fixed the issue price of Rs.36, which is at the higher end of the price band which was Rs.30/- to Rs.36/- per equity shares.
The IPO of National Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. (NHPC Ltd.), which closed for subscription on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 was oversubscribed to the extent of 23.74 times on an overall basis. The IPO was oversubscribed by an incredible 56.71 times in the category of Non-Institutional Investors, with Retail category getting oversubscribed by 3.87 times
