Coal India Limited has offered investors a withdrawal option to withdraw their applications due to some typographical errors in Company's standalone summary statements of profit and loss in the Red Herring Prospectus (RHP). Coal India Limited IPO investors (including QIB Investors) can withdraw their application till Monday, October 25, 2010

Coal India IPO closed on Thursday, October 21, 2010 and was oversubscribed 15.28 times, with Retail Category getting overbid 2.31 times. The withdrawal option may delay the allotment and listing of the IPO to some extent. Coal India Limited (CIL) is a Schedule 'A' 'Navratna' Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Coal, Government of India, with Headquarters in Kolkata, West Bengal
