Dear Investor,

We wish to inform you that Government of India is selling its stake in select Navratnas & Maharatnas (PSU) at a 3.5% discount through FFO 2 of CPSE ETF.

The key details in this context are given below:

Name of seller: The President of India, acting through and represented by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India

Name of Fund proposed to be sold: CPSE ETF

Name of stock exchanges where orders shall be placed: NSE

Date and time of opening the offer for Retail investors: March 15, 2017 at 9.15 a.m.

Date and time of closing the offer for Retail investors: March 17, 2017 at 3.30 p.m

Date and time of opening of offer for Non-Retail investors: March 14, 2017 at 9.15 a.m

Date and time of closing of offer for Non-Retail investors: March 14, 2017 at 3.30 p.m.

Floor Price: Offer of Units of Rs.10/- each (i.e. face value) for cash (on allotment, the value of each unit would be approximately 1/100th of the value of Nifty CPSE Index) to be issued at a premium, if any, approximately equal to the difference between face value and FFO 2 Allotment Price during the Further Fund Offer 2 (FFO 2) and at NAV based prices thereafter

Retail Discount: Discount of 3.5 % on the FFO 2 Reference Market Price of the uderlying shares of Nifty CPSE Index shall be offered to FFO 2 by Government of India.

Purchase price will be average of the full day volume weighted average price of the constituents of Nifty CPSE Index on NSE during Jan 18 and Jan 20.  

Based on this the price is expected to be around Rs.26.70. However, there is a 5% discount for retail investor which should bring the allotment price closer to Rs.25.50

Reliance CPSE ETF Further Fund offer which opened for subscription today, has been subscribed 4 times on the first day

The earlier issue of CPSE ETF, launched in March 2014, had raised Rs 3000 crore. CPSE ETF gives investors an opportunity to invest in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) through the ETF route. The ETF has exposure to 10 government undertakings graded as Maharatna and Navratna companies.

These companies can be broadly clubbed under the following four investment themes - energy, infrastructure and engineering and PSU financials.
The issue will close on Jan 20, 2017

L&T Finance to takeover Fidelity Mutual Fund
L&T Finance Ltd has agreed to buy Fidelity Group’s Indian mutual fund arm -- FIL Fund Management Pvt. Ltd and FIL Trustee Co. Pvt. Ltd. --for an undisclosed sum. According to sources, L&T Finance was not in contention for the acquisition in the initial rounds of negotiations, but came up with an offer that was more than that of the two other contenders in the final round -- HDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd and Pramerica Asset Managers Pvt. Ltd

L&T MF currently manages assets worth Rs. 4,616 crore in mutual funds. Fidelity MF in India is a unit of Fidelity Mauritius, which in turn is a subsidiary of Fidelity Worldwide Investment, or FIL Ltd, that manages at least $212 billion in assets

Mutual Fund NFO: Indiabulls Mutual Fund launches Indiabulls Bluechip Fund NFO
Indiabulls Mutual Fund has launched Indiabulls Bluechip Fund. The scheme will be jointly managed by Aviral Gupta, Amarjeet Singh and Sumit Bhatnagar

The investment objective of the scheme would be to generate long-term capital appreciation from a portfolio that is invested predominantly in equity and equity related securities of blue-chip large-cap companies.

The New Fund Offer (NFO) has opened for subscription on today on January 20, 2012 and closes on February 3, 2012. As with all NFOs, it is priced at Rs.10/- per unit. The minimum application amount would be of Rs.5000 and in multiples of Re.1 thereafter for lumpsum investment. For Systematic Investment Plan (SIPs), the minimum application would be of Rs.1000 and in multiples of Re.1 thereafter

The scheme would allocate 65% to 100% of assets in equity and equity related securities - blue chip large-cap companies, upto 35% of assets in equity and equity related securities - other companies and upto 35% of assets in debt & money market securities / instruments
